Urban Villages Christmas Craft Fair

Whether you want to bring your children to see Santa, stock up on treats for the family or fill stockings with gifts handcrafted in East Belfast, the first Urban Villages funded Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday 10 December has it all under one roof.

The Christmas Craft Fair at Skainos, is bringing together groups from across the community who have worked lovingly and tirelessly to produce unique Christmas decorations, tableware, toys and accessories, including hats and scarves, and art for you to buy and enjoy this festive season.

You'll be treated to performances showcasing live dance, theatre and music by Dee Street Hip Hop Dance, East Belfast Mission Choir, EastSide Choir, Hosford House Drama, Short Strand Dance Group and Urban Village Drama and while you enjoy a glass of mulled wine, children will be entertained creating their own crafts in the free craft workshop.

Neighbours in Need will be making hampers filled with all your favourite goodies throughout the day.

Groups involved include: Ballymac Friendship Trust, Creative Exchange Artist Studios, Dee Street Community Centre, Diamond Project Group, East Belfast Mens Shed, Hosford House Going Green Group, Short Strand Community Centre and Walkway Community Association.

Admission is FREE to the Urban Villages Christmas Craft Fair, 10 December, 11.00am, at Skainos, 241 Newtownards Road, Belfast, BT4 1AF.
