The Partnership is supported by central and local government and its role is to develop and oversee an urban regeneration strategy that will result in people being able to enjoy better services and a better quality of life.

This will mean taking responsibility for making sure that government and other service providers are fully aware of local needs. It will mean getting organisations to work together, in partnership, to meet those needs. Where necessary we will argue for the reshaping of services so that the residents of East Belfast get the level and quality of service that they justly deserve.

It is important that we involve local stakeholders in decision making and so we will work with local organisations and groups to make sure that they have a say in how plans are developed in their neighbourhood areas.

This website has been developed to provide a gateway into the East Belfast Partnership and to allow anyone with an interest in the area to access information about our plans and our achievements.
