EastSide Partnership requires the services of an individual or company to lead a programme of heritage themed street art in Ballyhackamore, east Belfast.

We will provide the overarching heritage-themed brief for this project. However, the appointed individual or company should be willing to work in partnership with the Ballyhackamore Business Cluster to identify sites and engage with private landowners on the development of artwork concepts and proofs. You will also be required to identify artist(s).

EastSide Tourism (part of EastSide Partnership) has launched a self-guided trail celebrating the rich cultural, industrial, social, religious and political heritage of the Newtownards Road. The Newtownards Road Heritage Trail will take visitors, from home and afar, on a journey revealing the sites and stories that make up this iconic area of east Belfast.

Get ready to step back in time as EastSide Partnership and EastSide Tourism opens the door to the 1960s at the George Best family home in east Belfast’s Cregagh Estate. With funding from Tourism NI’s Visitor Experience Development Grant, the entire house has been retro-refurbished to how it would have looked in 1961 when a fifteen year old George Best left Belfast to follow his football dreams in Manchester.

Everyone is invited to connect with EastSide Arts Festival, 5th-15th August, this summer.  Featuring 100+ artists across more than 80 events taking place both in-person and online, enjoy the festival from the comfort of home, outdoors in person, or at a range of east Belfast locations as part of a socially distanced audience.
