If you are looking for ideas of how to explore your local area this Summer, then look no further…

We are delighted to announce a series of EastSide Tours taking place every Saturday for the next few months.

We are delighted to be celebrating our 25th anniversary this year!

Over the past 25 years we have developed & delivered a range of exciting regeneration projects in east Belfast across arts, education, greenways, health, heritage and tourism, from the establishment of the annual EastSide Arts Festival in the area to the building of a new GP surgery at Bridges Family Practice, all with the aim ‘to make east Belfast a better place’.

EastSide Partnership hosted a 'Meet the Team' drop-in session on Tuesday 1st June in Victoria Park during Volunteers' Week. Our event was an opportunity for volunteers to find out what we have planned for the summer and offered information on how they can get involved.

If you were at C.S. Lewis Square last weekend you may have been lucky enough to catch some street circus while you were passing by or stopping for lunch. We have some amazing pop up performances lined up throughout the Summer including stilt walkers, character performances and even a harpist so if you stumble on some of our Summer entertainment make sure to let us know what you saw!

EastSide Partnership’s heritage volunteers were invited to co-create an exhibition with the Ulster Museum during lockdown. Fresh out of designing the EastSide Lives trail, they were able to put their research and interpretation skills to good use to tell the story of a piece of history in the making, Covid-19.

Over the past few months we have been retro refurbishing the George Best House to how it might have looked in the 1960s.

Once complete, guests and visitors will be able to experience 16 Burren Way as it might have looked when a fifteen year old George Best closed the door behind him to go and follow his dreams in Manchester.

We have to say a massive thank you to George's sister Barbara, and brother-in-law Norman for their support during the refurbishment and to Tourism NI for funding this project.

Our Moments of Joy exhibition is now on display at the Holywood Arches. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project.

For this exhibition, local people donated objects that represent a moment of joy they have experienced since March 2020. We hope that by sharing these, you will be inspired to find the things that help when circumstances are challenging

After the success of our last musical DVD resource, we commissioned Maria Connolly to write a new work featuring music from the 1960s and 1970s and so, ‘I Got You Dolly, Love Cher’ was born.

‘I Got You Dolly, Love Cher’ is an entertaining musical comedy featuring some of Dolly and Cher’s greatest hits. This show will warm your heart, make you smile and have you dancing and singing along from your sofa.

We also know how tough the past year has been on a lot of people – we’ve fe
